A native of the upstate, Shaye attended Lander University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. For the past 18 years, she’s taught the K4-2nd grade age group in various roles including Sunday school, conducting VBS events on the mission field and here at home, teaching at homeschool co-ops, as well as six years of homeschooling her own children. She is passionate about introducing children to quality literature at a young age. Shaye and her husband, Kyle, have three beautiful children and two silly cats. She enjoys good coffee, days at the lake, and loves a good used book sale.
