Merran grew up in Ontario, Canada. After a public school education, Bible school seemed prudent. She attended a two year Bible school in Michigan that turned into a four year cross cultural training program with Ethnos 360. She served six years in the Amazon (Brazil) at an MK school. There she met her husband Ross who was on a short term trip with a church from Greenville. Before moving to Greenville, they spent the first 16 years of marriage in Pennsylvania, growing to a family of eight, homeschooling, and being actively involved in church ministry while Ross was in college and seminary. Merran has a love for learning, family, church life, and missions.
