Deb was born in central Ohio but moved to Pickens when she was in upper elementary school. She was homeschooled K-12th grade. She taught for a year at Greenville Middle School and an additional two years at Bear River Middle School before becoming a full-time stay at home mom. Deb and her husband have five children; Zoe, Micah, Titus, Olivia, and Isaac. Deb loves anything outdoors, sports, and Crossfit.
