Ashley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida. She began her teaching career at a public high school, but after having her first child and going back to teaching for one more year, she decided to stay home to raise her child and future children for a time. She moved to South Carolina and began teaching chemistry and math to homeschoolers while homeschooling her oldest daughter. Math can be an intimidating subject for students. Ashley finds it so rewarding to take a subject that often causes fear and anxiety, and help a student understand and develop a better outlook on math.
