Anne Cocard
French
Anne grew up in Brittany, in the North-West of France, by the sea. She went to college to study French and literature and she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in modern literature. She moved to Greenville in 2008 with her husband and four children. After many years dedicated to her family and homeschooling her youngest, Anne had the opportunity to complete a training in language teaching through the French embassy in the US. She started teaching French to people of diverse backgrounds and ages and quickly found out she loves sharing her native language and culture. She believes that learning another language is eye-opening and develops intelligence.
