Our Kindergarten students build on language arts, practical life skills, fine and large motor skills, handicrafts, and art exploration each morning at Esprit. K5 Literature study focuses on beloved children’s favorites including works by Beatrix Potter, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Jan Brett, as well as seasonal readings for holidays and times of year. Students are introduced to illustrated narrations and continue growing in oral narration skills.
In unity with all other Esprit students, K5 students will engage in a focused nature study of invertebrates (Fall), rocks, minerals, and soil (Winter), and fish (Spring).
