Our littlest Esprit students will enjoy a play based curriculum as they learn a letter of the week, read books, create artwork and handicrafts, and explore the world around them through nature study. Through living books and hands-on experiences, students will enjoy in-class learning and light home assignments to deepen understanding throughout the week.
In unity with all other Esprit students, K4 students will engage in a focused nature study of invertebrates (Fall), rocks, minerals, and soil (Winter), and fish (Spring).

The Primary classes are semi-drop off classes: a parent is required to stay for class mornings several times per year. Childcare is available for younger siblings (up to two) of students whose parents are volunteering. Nursing infants are welcome with mothers who volunteer. Primary students and parents are welcome to pack a lunch and stay for the lunch hour.
Why Parents Love It
Parents love the gentle preparation for learning to read, the wonderfully messy art projects, and the emphasis on finding wonder in a study of the natural world.
Registration
Spots are limited to 12 students. We also maintain a waiting list once full.
